Texxi is a large-scale, real-time, dynamic ridesharing system that allows users to request seats in a taxi, carpool or indeed any vehicle using a mobile phone (SMS, Smartphone app), geolocation, a social network and a Futures Exchange. Texxi aggregates individuals into shared vehicles who are seeking rides to closely located destinations at similar times via SMS/smartphone messaging/web/email, a social network and futures exchange. Thus Texxi enables the dynamic pricing and allocation of any of the seats in any vehicle also allowing passengers to rate one another and their vehicle and driver to make the experience pleasurable. The system is based on credit contagion modelling from 2003 - 2004. Patent Pending (USPTO11/485,164) - July 2006, predating claims by Facebook, Foursquare, Google, IBM, Xerox PARC and Cisco.
